Additional Information for Google Users

1. Data Access and Use

Our Gmail Add-on accesses limited Gmail and Google Calendar data with your explicit permission to help schedule and manage visits based on your meetings. Specifically, we may access:
  • Your email address to identify and verify your identity.
  • Gmail metadata (e.g., sender, subject, timestamp) to auto-fill visit-related forms and verify meeting context.
  • Google Calendar metadata (e.g., organizer, attendees, time) to check for valid meeting participation.
We do not access or store the full content of your Gmail messages or calendar descriptions.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

This data is used only to:
  • Auto-fill visit creation forms.
  • Verify that the user is a valid meeting participant.
  • Allow seamless redirection from Gmail or Google Calendar to our visit scheduling application.
We do not use Google user data for advertising or analytics.

3. Sharing of Data

We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to any third parties. Your data is only used internally by Happy Visitor and, where applicable, by the organization you are visiting for legitimate visit tracking purposes.

4. Retention and Deletion of Data

We retain your Google user data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected (e.g., verifying your meeting participation or visit record). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at: support@happy-visitor.com We will process such requests and delete the associated data within 30 days.

5. Data Security

We apply industry-standard encryption, limited access controls, and secure database practices to protect your data.

6. Use of Google APIs

This application complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.
